Sunshine Coast Business Confidence Survey

Thank you to all business owners and managers who recently completed the September 2011 Business Confidence Survey.

There were 493 respondents to the latest in the survey series and we would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the short online survey.  A special thanks to all the Chambers of Commerce, business groups and supporters for helping us capture another snapshot of business conditions on the Coast.

As an incentive to complete the survey online, we offered a prize thanks to our good friends at Wyndham Vacation Resorts and Corporate and Group Xperiences.  One lucky respondent received a "Holiday at Home" package including 2 nights accommodation at SurfAir on Marcoola and a Segway adventure. The winner was announced at an event held on October 27th at the Sunshine Coast Institute of TAFE launching the survey results and report.

Survey Background

Established in 2008 - in partnership with the major business, industry and government groups – the Sunshine Coast Business Confidence survey provides accurate and important information about trading conditions on the Coast. 

Regularly receiving on average 500 business participants from across the entire Sunshine Coast region, the survey reports are professionally collated and include expert economic analysis. 

The survey is conducted bi-annually and participation can be anonymous.  The baseline questions have been collaboratively designed by Boardroom Business and the Sunshine Coast Council Economic Development unit.

The Sunshine Coast TAFE is one of the region’s largest provider of skilled workers and a major sponsor of the survey series for which we are extremely grateful.
