A big THANK YOU to all local chefs, owners and managers who recently completed the Local Food Survey. This survey was conducted by Boardroom Business on behalf of the Queensland Government Department of Employment, Economic Development and Innovation.
The full report with findings was released on August 16th 2011. To download a PDF copy click on the button below. Appendices A and B contain more detail around questions 20 and 21:
Appendix A: Local Suppliers Appendix B: Local Produce
The purpose of the survey was to gain detailed insight into the attitudes and behaviours of local chefs and restaurant managers in relation to the purchase of local foods in the Sunshine Coast and Gympie regions. The information and data gathered will in turn help with the Queensland Government's broader strategy around the local food and beverage chain.
The survey opened on May 15th and closed on June 22nd 2011. There were over 100 respondents to the survey.
